OH THANK GOD. After I finished the first one, my life was so empty. There was nothing to fill the many hours of free time I had. Now I can go back to a dark room and slowly start to develop temporary psychosis once again.

I'm getting extremely excited about the gradually unravelling story of this new game. Frictional Games (the devs) have apparently teamed up with The Chinese Room (who developed the interesting Dear Esther) and are working on a new survival horror game. I'm not sure what link there is to the original Amnesia other than the fact that "AMNESIA" is printed across the image on the nextfrictionalgame.com website haha.

The image is now unblurred and there has been a massive and impressive amount of cat and mouse going on between fans and the devs on the forum - long story short there was a lot of cryptic decoding and "pretend" website hacking which revealed the following info:

1. The game is a joint effort between Frictional and The Chinese Room codenamed "gameB".
2. It's a first-person survival horror game, presumably using the latest Amnesia engine.
3. The deciphered cryptic message reads:

A MACHINE FOR PIGS COMING FALL TWO THOUSAND TWELVE

4. There are two pieces of concept art which have been confirmed/uncovered, with some potentially-related artwork on the thechineseroom.co.uk website.

5. A human slaughterhouse/factory seems to be the basis of the story/location. The humans in the story are considered pigs, and the dismembered trunk of a human is seen hanging from a transport rail in the middle of the first image. It looks as if it's being led into a furnace for disposal judging by the bubbling blood on the ground and the bright yellow/white glow from the exit of the tunnel.

The whole thing sounds fucking brutal and horrendously dark. ME LIKES!!!!!!!!!!
