your right Powers of Terror about it being close to the "Marix", but im more referring to the movie "eXistenZ", were the world is more of a game, than a place to live in like the matrix. hah.. and both of those movies came out in 1999.

and about that time thing.
every time its a new second, it is the current present time of now. and all the seconds that have gone by, are in the past (obviously), and can't be taken back, unless you have some sort of time machine(doubtful). i think the only way to speed up time, would be to not live every second of it, but how u would go about doing that, i dont know.
