Physically I'm about as ready as I will get for it, the unit that sends candidates to selection works you out quite a bit and I have been with them longer than most. Many of my good friends I went to basic with have already passed selection a few months back and are well into training, it's not impossible to pass. There is a lot of mystique and rumours surrounding sf that are plain stupid. That being said I'm not thinking I'm in yet just because my buddies are. Overall though I have a good idea what to expect. Lots of lockdown in Camp McKall, hard training, etc. I don't even know any girls since I've left for basic anyway, there is literally no excuse for me to not suck it up and go to school.

Badass man! I wish I kept myself in better shape leading up to my decision to join. I guess drinking beer and playing guitar isn't the best training for Spec Ops. Well best of luck to you at the school! That stuff probably makes Navy OCS look like a summer camp. It was no picnic but it's nothing like BUDs or Ranger school.
