Hey ho, Me and my fellow guitarist have just brought a cheap bass from a friend, but it's only a four string and we tune to B standard. Any recommendations on a suitable string guage????
Couldn't tell you whats on it, hes a major tight arse and probably hasn't changed them in years..
I thought of using the low strings from a 5 string set but i'll have to modify the nut to accomadate the low E (B), and really didn't want to go down that road........ Any help would make me very happy!!!
