We have several music stores here, so that's not a problem. The thing is, I'm but a simple guitarist, and I probably can't tell (yet) whether a bass is good just by playing it . But I suppose I'll try though, and if I don't notice any difference between high-end models and the cheap ones, then I guess there's no harm in buying a low-end one.
