One thing I've noticed is a growth in popularity of metal...Back in 2004 when I went to concerts there were usually a bunch of guys over 18 there rocking out to what have you. Now it seems like there are a bunch of kiddies at all the shows I'm going to. Went to go see Vader this weekend and there were a shit ton of kids and girls. Seems like there has been a revitalization of heavy metal recently. Also I've noticed how the the generation of teenagers now are into metalcore, emo, and other rock shit compared to mine from 98ish who were all into rap and hiphop shit. My speculation is that in a couple of years there will be a bust in the emo, metalcore, etc. shit and there will be some new main genre that every little kiddy is busting a nut to.
