Yeah I use that on the outro of a goretrack I've made... But I've put it there to add a bit of a comical feel to the ending...

Not the most brutal thing on a drumkit but can add different dynamics if that's what your after, maybe just sit on your kit one day and experiment with it and if you have no joy just give it to your local farmer ARR !!! Or pirate farmer even, ARRRR !!!
