Ah yeah I've heard of those Zvex's. 5W tube is still pretty loud.  I wanted a solution without micing. Still don't know if I'm keeping my Engl and getting a Palmer PDI09 and USB/Firewire interface, or selling it altogether and getting an Engl pre, interface and amp. Such indecision.
