He developed a cyst in his throat or something, atleast that's what I read. I was never a fan of them really..but if he developed a cyst, couldn't you infer that he was singing/screaming incorrectly and using bad technique? I mean even as it is, he doesn't sound like he is..projecting his voice properly, perhaps that's just his voice and my perception but, he "Overdoes" it.
