I meant ugly duckling in something that looks like just the average bass, maybe even kind of ugly, but turns out to be the most beautiful sounding thing youve ever played.

IMO the warwick thumb is pretty damn goofy lookin.
but its the best bass ive ever had the opportunity to play on.
