There's a thread in the Bass Zone with tons of pics of awesomely weird basses... like 2-strings, assloads of 8-strings, a 10 string, a bass that looks like a cock, and an 8 string with 40 frets. No shit, take a look.

Does Ibanez plan on releasing the 8-string to the public? Not that I would ever need to tune that low, but it would be interesting to try that guitar...
