This isn't appealing to the common man because it is written in critical defiance of his ways.
Multi-psychic doesn't mean flexible mind powers. It means multiple minds described technically with a hybrid word.
This is meant to be above the common man so this is an exercise of the mind, this prose.
You should really read the dictionary harder. Psychic means of or related to the psyche (mind).
When you read my pieces and you see that hyphen in a word and look in the the big book of words to find it's non-existence, split up the word and find each bit's meaning, meticulously.
