No, you just slap it, then it doesn't matter what the notes are, it always sounds good!
I love slap bass, I actually got a bass this morning, my mate owed me £130 from ages ago and didn't have any cash so he payed me off with a (shitty) encore bass and a peavey basic 112 (50W) that were gathering dust. Considering thats about £400 worth of stuff new I think I did quite well. |
