growl volume
If you want to keep your voice in good shape and be able to sing for a long time the volume used is quite low...it varies a lot depending of the note or tone you're going for, that's why compression...

I think you didn't get what i meant...you are trying to sing high notes like the c one octave above middle c without falsetto...so you gotta use head voice unless you're a freak like andre matos from...
