just in case anyone else has had this problem.
the signal that i was getting from the line out not only had the huge 60Hz hum but also sounded like total shit. i solved the problem though.

big hum from line out on JCM900
i recently bought a jcm900 and have started recording with it. my current setup.
guitar/jcm900/lineout to us-122 external soundcard/laptop.
the prob is i hear a bigtime hum through the headphones...

Are there any other melodic sounding deathgrind bands that people here know of? Love this sound, but all I've been able to find is melodic death metal or just plain deathgrind.
