when u scream ur throat should not hurt, burn, sting, etc etc etc during n after screaming. if it does it means ur doing it wrong. u being sick can b from screaming wrong but who knows.

u def need 2 scream using ur diaphram: breathing into your stomach and tensing ur abs.....as for u be able 2 do the scream all the time it might b a matter of u warming up or not

growling technique

i was practicing growling one day and in one of my growls i felt a gargle in the back of my throat. i was unable 2 repeat that since then and was wondering if any1 knows how to do that again

i have the vocal style im looking, something along the lings of all that remains, but my vocals dont have the power and fullness behind them like phils....how can i increase the power

practically every band uses vocal fry whether ppl believe it or not......slipknot uses the vocal fry but its more of a yell wit the vocal fry...u should work ur way from whisper 2 a yell otherwise ur...

the diaphragm doesnt exactly make the noise itself but puts force behind it.....to get a better understanding of it n i hate 2 say it go on youtube n search "how to scream".....theres a few good ones...

i used to have the same problem the only thing i can tell u is keep practicing n excersice more....like cardio stuff cause it increases ur lung capacity over time

type of scream

what type of scream does august burns red use...is it the metal core scream...if so how do u get it like that cause mine sound like something along the lines of at all cost and as i lay dying

its not the type of scream that lets u do it...

its not the type of scream that lets u do it night after night its the technique u use that lets u do it....which would b 2 use ur diaphram while u scream
