I like it. Expecially the second part. As improvement I think you should be less bound by the scale (the first part mostly sounds like playing a scale up and down) and add some rythmic stuff too....

I always use my fingers, since I learnt tapping on bass first, and who uses a pick to play bass, eh? ;) Besides, I think it would be kinda hard to tap with a pick on bass anyway.

Really, really ugly artwork... They should remove the tentacles and the monster, then it would be acceptable. I still think this will be better than Come Clarity though.

I read somewhere that The Haunted are recording new material. Also, I hope In Flames can do something better than their last three albums, though it seems unlikely considering the sound of abnegation...

I'd get an Ibanez, there was one on my last school, and it was actually quite good despite having to survive several years of wierd teenagers dropping it on the floor etc :P Squier is not recommended.
