I'm sure my technique needs improvement as I'm not super clean w my sweeps just yet. I'm also sure some of it is the XXX I'm running through. My sweeps sound 100x better through my POD w headphones....

I dont think so as long as the amp is biased correctly. I swapped the sovtek's for Groove tubes and didnt have a problem.

Lots of lows and highs. Without the numetal sound or getting muddy. Basicaly a full rich tone, something that will retain clearity when pushed a bit. Lots of deffinition mainly.

That was another thing I was wondering about, I can do pinch harmonics fine w the emg. Their just kinda dull and lifeless. I think Im going to give it a shot.
