anyway, you could fix it, but you'd have to re-enforce the neck a lot due to the string tension. I've seen it done, I just don't know how hard...

There's this brand [cannot remember the name :( ] that has guitars that are made by the dude that came up with all the body concepts BC Rich uses. they are 10x cooler looking and way better quality...
