I remember seeing a couple of threads in the Chit Chat forum where some one would post lyrics and then people would have to name the band, well, I don't know if this has been done before but I figured there should be a game where some one posts a tab (Doesn't have to be correct, just has to sound like the song they're trying to portray) and then people would have to name that band just from playing that tab. Sound fun?

ah yes, i used to play this game with a friend of mine when we were chatting on AIM. but he kept putting tabs to RHCP and led zepplin and stuff so it was hard to win... even though he couldnt figure half my tabs either. go figure

Hmmmm...I think it would be impossible to do since we don't know the rythum of the song. I think it would only work if you recorded your self playing it but we'll see how it goes.

eh, I've played it, well not in drop D because thats a gay tuning, but, I don't think I know where its from...

Goddamn it this shits impossible. First you can't tell a song because you can't hear the rhythm by seeing the tab and the other problem is that theres many different ways and techniques to play songs so they might not look familiar when you see them.

Yeah, see that's the thing, it's more of a challange without hearing the song, that's the fun part. And, yeah Def, drop D tuning is pretty shitty. By the way, the song I posted was a part from Cadaver Blowjob by Prostitute Disfigurement.
