man, it seems like us forum guys barely know each other, that we don't even know each other's first names.
back in the day, forum regulars would do a bit of their own RTT outside the forums in messengers. amongst other things, we'd sometimes chat about the forum or members. I think that really contributed to the forum experience. we would be all like, "did you see what Slayme said to the newbie?" "Yeah! hilarious."
now, half the regulars left, and all we talk about now is, "anything interesting in the forum" and "them forums really suck now"

Now everything feels kinda half-assed.

and nobody would say anything more inflammatory than "Cunt" or "Shut the fuck up weijia", and it'd be in good fun. but now people are bickering and telling each other to shut up. Why would you tell someone to shut up? This is a forum, let people have opinions.

You're right atif. The old days (post-atmetal for me at least) were pretty good......the pre-1000 members days were nice. Everyone seemed to know each other, and we all backed one-another up when some ignorant newb tried to start some shit......i mean, remember handling 6MORBID6ANGEL6? That was gold......ahhh the memories!

well being a newer member myself, i was never a part of the 'big-guys-league'...i dont know most of the people on metaltabs, although i have a few on my msn/yahoo, whom i seldom talk to...i just post here cuz the forums are good & UNLIKE some other wannabe-dominated forums...

nonetheless, these forums ARE one of the best i've come across !!!
