At what speed can you do DB?
Hi all.
I was just wondering - at what speed (BPM) can you do a doublekick for some time? (while doing some regular snare hi-hat stuff on top) Like for one metronome beat - 2 kicks (LF en RF). Who bids highest? :D |
just wondering, how do you hear the metronome over the drums?
|
lol...:D
Just put it in front of you, on your snare even, and just look at it while you doublekick then:rolleyes: Or get some silent / flat / electronic drum, or hang a bunch of towels on your DB to make it more silent... |
I tried drumming once...I couldn't get a steady beat. But is was easy as hell to do most ac/dc and zztop songs, like Back in Black.
But if I really worked on it, I'm sure I could do....oh say 16th notes at...100. |

Pretty neat:D Work on it;) |

get a metronome with a headphone jack, get bigass headphones that cover your ears, and put on a beanie hat over the headphones while you're playing. works for me. and as for how fast i can go id say about 225 on an average day, about 245 on a great day at 16th notes |

erm, dude, that's not fast at all...Indiana Jones theme runs about 120. |

lol! I also can't keep a steady double bass beat. I can't even do double bass when I'm doing blast beats. I also tried to learn the snare roll from Devourment's Festering Vomitous Mass, but I failed. |

Is that right at the start of the song? That's a toughie. |
yes it is... How do I get that drummer's snare sound, should I take the snare bands off?
|
I can play 16ths @ 220 bpm, cleanly, easily.

I've been playing double pedal for 4 years and I practice dailey.

LMFAO! lol, thats like the most funniest thing I have read so far today.
|
I can do 240 bpm 16notes . My top speed is 260 bpm.
I practice daily, minimum one hour just on the bassdrum. ...and o'yeah....I play True Norwegian Blackmetal :smash: |
I drum at school and play bass for my band but on a bad day I get around 250 bpm, and on a good day around 300 bpm
|
My drummer can push 350bpm 1/16 notes on a good day, average is about 325
