ANNOUNCEMENT: about OFFICIAL threads
 

merging threads about commonly asked questions, in this forum, into a sticky "OFFICIAL" topic is a good idea to reduce redundant clutter.

if you have suggestions on which common topic i should make into the next sticky Official thread, post em here.

even better would be to post the urls of threads that are very informative of the topic. (that's optional though)

after you post the suggestion and i think it's a good idea, i'll search out the forum, and merge threads together into a good, informative, "OFFICIAL" mega-thread.

this also applies to Gear Talk and Tab requests too, btw.

so let's see those suggestions

how about one with most whammy bar tricks...im too lazy to check if theres any(just woke up) but itd be nice :P

oh and one about practice/exercises...could include tips/scales/tabs (though most of those threads are a mess, should be fun to sort hehe)
and the good old "which guitar should i buy" ones

Atif, im going to make one called "Guitar Opinions and Questions" which i think will really clean up it up. If you want to know which gutiar is better then you post he two your having the dificulty deciding with, and questiosn about certain guitars. Ill ahve it done in the next two days..or so.

I think it's very important in metal and for any guitarrist in general and it's one of the most difficul areas to developt because it requires a lot of theory

i think there should be a whole separate forum for theory, but a "sticky thread" thread would be just fine

that wouldn't work, 'cause it would be molested with idiocy.

Alot of people have been posting there stuff in PT. Can there be an official thread for posting that stuff?

just a silly thread about 'Hey dude, what kind of guitar(s) do you have?' -picture added, preferably. Good way for some people to show off with their kickass guitars, or.. just to see what others got. You know.. (there's probably a thread like that already, isn't there? :P ).. [D'oh!]
As said in other posts, some tips & tabs for the lazy.

I liked the Post Your Songs Thread. That would make a GREAT sticky!

i like the solo battle thread.that could be merged with the post your songs thread.

Yeah, add the solos part on there to and make it a sticky. Save a lot of time and space.

is there like a CLASSIFIEDS section? im sure alot of people on here have gear they want to get rid of....i know i do!
