Metallica's Summer Sanitarium setlist
 

For those of you who are still Metallica fans, here are the songs they're playing on their Summer Sanitarium tour. Just saw them last night in Atlanta, and was glad they played a lot of older stuff and only three songs from the Load era till present. Please don't start any posts how they're sellouts, we all know that but still love the music they made back in their heydays of headbanging. The songs are close, but not in exact order.

All in all, a two hour show that kicked ass, especially since I haven't seen them live since '97. For those of you who are going to see them, enjoy. And for those of you who are thinking about it, I think this setlist proves it's worth the show!

Sounds good, Im going to the Melbourne show in Australia, January 28th, its gonna be pretty good im guessing, good to hear they are going to play alot of old school stuff. Only problem with the show is that its bloody expensive, I payed $35 to see Opeth, $35 to see The Haunted, $50 for Slayer, yet Metallica is going to cost over $130 lol, my wallets not gonna be too happy ;)

They BETTER play the older stuff. I'm going too. ;)

the tickets were 120$ or so....hmm 120$ to hear 2 hours of music and then go away cause the other bands suck....no thanks, i'll go watch 10 better shows for the same price

You know its a scam. They have almost NEVER played Blackened. At least the 3 bad songs were clustered together, so you could go take a leak during those 3 songs.

Nope. Ulrich decided not to play that song ever when justice got out. Don't ask me why. But one studio-live I saw sometime ago they played that song about 2minutes..
Guess it's hard for drummer to play..

And about that setlist. I know it's full of good stuff since they dumped load/reload-set out of it. Almost. Fuel is alright.
But.
Where's fade to black..?

Metallica's Tour came to the Chicago area a while ago. I didn't go because the price was to high. A few Friends of mine went and all of them told me that Metallica had to make up for limp bizcut because Limp Biz got BOOOOD OFF STAGE!!! did they get boood off stage anywhere else??

I dont think they got booed off when i saw them in D.C., but i wouldnt know cause the entire time Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit were playing me and my friend just hung around the exit and ate overpriced pizza. We did hear them attempt to cover "Sanitarum" and im sure it sucked, but we couldnt hear too well. We got caught in traffic on the way to the stadium and missed Mudvayne and the Deftones. Big loss:rolleyes: .

Saw the Sanitarium tour down her in L.A., everyone sucked except Metallica, but that was to be expected. That fag Durst got punched in the fuckin face. He came out into the crowd, this huge, Billy Milano lookin motherfucker gets past his security, taps him on the shopulder, then hauls off and slams this gigantic hand right into that pussy's face. HA!

Metallica ruled all, from opener to closer, kicked ass. Two encores, amazing stage show, just fuckin incredible. Say what you will, but Metallica are GODS.

Openers sucked, Metallica kicked ass, some people say that they're back, I say they never left.

No St. Anger, Fuel and Frantic were at different times. He got that part wrong. And as far as Blackened, they have been playing it EVERY tour stop. I saw them play it and it was AMAZING.

They played that a lot this tour... they should have done that 9 years ago... I agree with Dissection...
