Live though was when Cynic played at that festival in Norway and Sean pulled out the intro' to Sentiment. According to Paul's tour blog, and as far as I can remember, it was to do with his guitar MIDI rig not being plugged into the right socket. An out instead of an in. It didn't play, so Sean took over.

I like the drums at the beginning of "Slaves Shall Serve" by Behemoth. I know its nothing too complicated but it fits well.

Nope.

He used - and as far as I know still does use - some early 80s Camco pedals.

Yeah, but they're apparently mega-smooth. I almost bought one on eBay a few weeks ago, but some bastard outbid me at the last second.

Is it better than longboards?

Dunno, dude - you'd have to ask someone who's played both.

I had longboards for a while, but didn't get on with them. Never tried Camco.
