I love the drums on panteras "good friends & a bottle of pills."
also, metallicas "one" breakdown rules. Also, the breakdown in lamb of gods "now you've got something to die for", and pretty much the whole song "the faded line", badass shit!!

newHELLonEARTH 2005-07-25 18:06

cryptopsy's grave of the fathers. favorite song for drumlines and always be. altho im not a drummer..

LordofStorms 2005-07-25 19:27

All of the drumming in AOTW,Kollias is fucking sick behind the kit.

The Execrator 2005-07-25 19:54

Yes, that album does have some good drumming.

Lord.Worm 2005-07-28 06:18

Necrophagist - the stillborn one at 3:00 really nice bellwork ;)
The drums on the new Nile record are inhumanly clean...thats really sick.

Frozen Soul 2005-07-30 17:57

I'm appreciate complex drums. However, I always fall back on the blast beat...nothing kicks my ass like a good blasting. I pick Pure Holocaust by Immortal, followed by buried by time and dust by Mayhem(the percussive blasting.) Sons of Northern Darkness has a nice intro as well. Fuck, I can't decide. Gene Hoglan did some great things for Death.

The Doctor 2005-07-30 18:04

the bassrolls in Domination by Pantera

vinnie's the shit

NZ black metal drumm 2005-07-30 21:41

i second that, some of the drum fills are just amazing
also hatebreeder - whole song

Transient 2005-07-31 17:10

all of the drumming on sons..the fills in tyrants, intro to sons of northern.

malevolent creation - blood brothers intro

Tulvox 2005-08-04 13:09

The drums that come in at about 1:00 on Lamb of God's "Hourglass". Catchy as fuck.

blackmetalassault 2005-08-04 13:30

all the songs on Sons of northern darkness especially "antartica" flow perfectly and have the coolest bass drum work i think.
