dream theater - six degrees of inner turbulence: IV. The Test That Stumped Them All
like in the middle part before the keyboard solo pantera - domination |
The verse riff of Kings of the Carnival Creation by Dimmu fucking rocks, and the main part of Dawn of the Angry by Morbid Angel...hehe, oh yes :)
|
arch enemy - savage messiah 3:50 to the end:) (after the melodic solo)
this is not fast, but cool:) |
i like NIN - Piggy. the drums at the end are crazy, and somehow he manages to keep in time.
|
It's called a drum machine, man. Trent Reznor only uses actual musicians live. Everything else is electronic, for the most part.
|
Battles In the North (whole cd) ... Abbath is awesome
oh yeah and this Broken Hope song ... shit forgot the name ...it's the second one of the cd "Grotesque(?) Blessings" |
Kewl KeNnY
Mike Portnoy is the man, that's all i got to say
|
Well from your post I can tell you listen to Black MEtal. Dimmu Borgir's Nick Barker is far superior than Tjodval or however you spell it. But my favorite drummer's passage would be the whole album of Rust In Peace by Nick Menza from MegadetH. I love both Nick's both are extremely talented in their own genres.

Yeah dude, I liek the drummers from Dimmu Borgir and Pantera.... fucking awsome!!!
|
the drum roll massacre after the chorus part in BITE THE PAIN
intro & outro to PAINKILLER intro to TO FORGIVE IS TO SUFFER .............and then theres every single beat played by jaska, lombardo etc...:D |
i really like sinister drums. I've been told that the drummer is nothing special but i like it when the drumms get really brutal with lots of blast beats after a cool rhythm.:D
I have the cross the styx/diabolical summoning album  |
i like the drum fill in mandatory suicide about 30 seconds after the solo is done
and the drum riff all throughout decapitated 'spheres of madness' the bass drum in the is fucking psycho |
pantera- Domination:cool:
|
the drums in One by Metallica

i don't think that is a machine, i know he uses drum machines, but that isn't one of the times. |
Test That Stumped them All, Mr. Scary by Dokken, or pretty much damned neary anything Portnoy or Peart does...
|
Thrones of Blood by Suffocation has an awesome drum riff when the vocals kick in, i also like alot of Monstrosity's drum riffing, like In dark purity, the Angels venom, and perpetual war
|
Any song by Novembre, their drummer is amazing!
|
the angle of death part after the solo :)
|
Neil Peart [Rush] at the very end of the song 2112 just before the "Attention all Planets of the Solar Federation"bit Neil goes sick on the triplets, quadruplets and flams. Pure Godlike.
