Hey guys - long time no see! ;)

Anyhow, I'll be honest, I'm starting to write my dissertation and need some comments on what fans feel are the beliefs behind Moonsorrow. I know they class themselves as "Epic Heathen Metal", so I'm aware of one side, but it doesn't help with a fan based study. So, if you're still reading by this point, what do you think are the beliefs behind Moonsorrow? How do you feel they are they conveyed? There are no wrong answers, I would just like your thoughts :)

Never really listened to them. "Epic Heathen Metal" sounds hilarious though.

Personally I think behind Moonsorrow are just a bunch of drunk finnish guys, who want to express their personal bound to the heathen culture in rebellion towards christianity. The genocide of heathens in Finland was extremely cruel and vicious from what I've heard

I thought moonsorrow was a euphemism for pre-menstrual syndrome.

Well, half on Moonsorrow, half on Watain. I'm trying to show how belief has shaped scandinavian extreme metal.
