Multi Effect or new amp?
 

Hey everyone, Ive gotta LTD EX-400 and a Marshall MG250DFX. Not happy with the tone or distortion (soild state) so Im looking for either a multi effect or getting a new tube amp. Ive got $700ish to spend. I was looking at a TC Nova System, a POD HD 500, a Boss GT-10 for multi effects. Im looking for a Scandinavian death metal sound. What would you guys suggest? Thanks a ton!!

Gt-10 is a GT-8 with a looper. Same firmware updates so far. Tube amps are super nice, but for practice space, with head phones you can't beat a GT8 or 10.

I got all kinds of amps but the Boss GT 8 is nice to have for practice or backup gear. The FX are not bad at all, plus you can drive a PA with it when in a spot too.

Did you test it first before buying? I'm about to buy LTD EX-400.
