I can scream with the same technique newer christian bands use
:vampire:I can screams using the same technique some of the newer christian bands use, some of these bands are Under Oath, We Butter The Bread With Butter, Waking the Cadaver. The technique used when the scream is growl. I have mastered that and there is no other thing I can learn with that technique. I can also pig squeal, that is not an issue for me. But forget about these quiet growls I do, and the inhale screams I taught myself, I would love more than anything music related to learn how to scream such as Tim Lambesis. If anyone can tell me the technique he uses, or if anyone can scream and people can hear you without a mic, please tell me how you learned, and any advice will help. My band is threatening to kick me out because they need a new screaming technique. I am 17 and have over 6 years of the growling technique and pig squeal technique under my belt, and I am willing to help anyone within this technique. I am an amazing teacher and have already taught a total of 329 people how to scream. :lhdevil:

Oh boy.

:vampire: WHAT!?!?!?! I don't want BS replies like the one you just sent. This is not what I am looking for!!! :lhdevil:

I always wonder what people like you are like in real life.
|
:lhdevil:
|
definitely not like :lhdevil:
I don't know if waking the cadaver is christian either....still shitty though. plus if you taught all these kids and have been doing this for so long...I think you'd be plenty loud....and not inhaling. |
I always wonder what people like that would taste like strung up like a kebab and roasted over a slow open fire. And Paddy would be hunting midgets in the bushes for dessert, and Dyldo and PST would be doing something unspeakable with monkeys in hats (HA!) and all the rest would for some ill defined reason persist in writing nonsensical short messages about stuff on a huge, green sequoia leaf.

Why not just start your own band? Or join one which isn't run by fickle trend-sucking wankers? I imagine with your honed inhale technique you'd be in high demand for outfits which do want to sound like I Can't Believe it's Not Butter, or whoever the fuck. Quote:

I have taught 329 people face to face, I teach them how to growl, growling is not loud, it's deep and quiet, meant to be louder through the mic. And Waking the Cadaver is christian, I met them irl.
|
Holy shit! You met Wanking the Cadaver? Did you guys throw your hands up and show your swords to the lord? I hear they growl in tongues.

Shows what you know... Yes Growling is deep, but it sure as shit doesn't have to be quiet. The more power the better in my opinion. |

Yeah totally the technique of bands like Cannibal Corpse and Behemoth. AHHHH OMG I JUST FORGOT!!!!1 Only christian growls are deeeeeep like hell and quiet like a dumb little girl  and of course :lhdevil: :lhdevil: |
yes I met Waking the Cadaver in real life, they were fucking sick!!! :scatter:

Dude you never tell how cool a christin band may seem, its metal nobody cares. And your tecnique is incorrect, your observations of growling are even worse. My growls are not quiet they can be heard through floor boards and walls when my vocals are well rested and apporiate procedures are done. Do not ever inhale scream it could damage your chords. Listen to Jesse leach (former vocalist for Killswitch Engage) and Phil Labonte of All That Remains. I'm 15 and I know more than you about this. :flame: I forgot to mention I don't use a mic. |

Nope |
I don't use a mic, and I been screaming since I was 11, and inhaling will not ruing your vocals. And the only reason I growl is because all I listen to is christian deathcore, christian screamo, and christian metal.

So THAT's how you honed your pig squealing technique. |

How the hell do you follow up on a statement like "I've been screaming since i was eleven"? This thread is slowly developing into popcorn-and-soda-status.
