12 string tuning.
 

My step-dad's 12 is a little out of wack. I have barely even play 12 strings let alone tune them. I can tune the "basic six"(duh!).The other smaller strings is what I don't get. Can anyone help me out with this one?

Um, they're the same pitch. The high E and B string are tuned exactly the same...and the other four, G, D, A, low E, are all tuned one octave up from the regular six.

they're an octave higher but dont even worry about that when your tuning it. It'll automatically be an octave higher so just tune it regularly
