Laboga Mr. Hector head for Brutal Death Metal?
 

I've played on a show on a Laboga Mr. Hector head, it sounded freaking awesome to me. What do you think of it, is it better than an Peavey XXX or Engl Powerball?

I'm actually thinking of buying one...

its like a heavily modded 5150. It will cover all metal territories with ease. Better than other amps? well thats entirely opinion, and depends on what you need.

I'd say its better than the XXX, but the Powerball is pretty much becoming the standard in metal amps (kind of like the 5150). Judging from sound clips, it seems to be a pretty damn good amp, and it has a cool sound for brutal death metal (although I don't really know what kind you are playing, cause technical stuff might want a bit tighter gain and some more mid-focus).

We're looking for a Suffocation (Pierced...), Deeds of Flesh, Disavowed sound.
I sounded amazing to me, too, so I'm a little bit confused, I'll have to try the Powerball, as that was the head I was planning to buy, and compare the two.

I like the 5150. I kinda used to it already....

A heavily modded 5150? Those things are muddy enough as it is. I'd still like to try one out anyways.
