Whats a good song/bassline to learn please?
 

hiya can any of you suggest a good bassline to learn please? If you do post one, please post a link to the tab/notation for it :)

I play lots of Raised Fist and Shockwave stuff now, pretty sweet, raised fist can get complicated.

if you just want some nice basslines, check out Level 42

Check out some of rancids stuff, and try chili peppers - Aeroplane thats rull of bass riffs with a cool solo, or if your looking for a melodic solo try Metallica's - Anesthesia

Oh and check out morningwillcome, they rule!!

i couldnt find tabs for those songs, other than aneasthesia, which i learnt in about feb :(

Ive looked at rancids stuff before, im no punk fan and the technical bits seem a bit naff compared to other stuff outhere(soundwise)

go to guitar tabs, then on the side, dehumanizer, then master of insanity. the first part is the same for bass, and since they dont have that particular bass tab, the guitar'll do.

No, I'm beeing serious, the verse riff is pretty neat, haha it sounds less complicated then it actually is!

anways there's more cool deep purple tunes like Black Night :P

it's not that it's really complicated but it's just weird to play, try it :)
