Searched through a lot of pages but didn't find a matching thread. Thanks for the bands. I tuned my guitar to B recently, and I only really could use it for The Monolith Deathcult now.

yeah I looked after I said that, couldn't find anything either...

I really wish I could think of more...Once I get some money I'm going to get some 13's and tune my cheap Jackson to B. Do some Carcass covers.

i think cryptopsy uses 7 strings but i play their stuff with a B tuned guitar just fine

Bloodbath might, but i'm not sure. Never bothered to try to play anything by them but they're tuned down around there somewhere.
I dunno i can probably think of more bands that tune to Bb, rather than B.

Cryptopsy tune to B standard on a 6 string guitar.

You can, of course, drop your 6th string a whole tone and play Nile.

I'm sure there are a lot of shitty goregrind bands that play in B. What tuning does Mortician play in?

I think Cannibal Corpse played in B on the Gallery of Suicide Album!

Also SYL do aren`t they??

I can't remember if Mortician plays in B at all but I know they have some like G tuned stuff.

That whole album is in Bb. I'm pretty sure all Cannibal Corpse has been in Bb since then, too.

Yes they do, most of the time anyway.

Spawn of Possesion, Wormed, Aborted, Edge of Sanity, Gorgasm, Visceral Bleeding and Beheaded do too I believe.

Seriously though, after reading the rest of the thread, I gotta say... Man you guys know a lot about metal. Frickin its like you can name what any band tunes their guitars to exactly which note on any album. Crazy maaan.
