a few buds of mine got carcass tix for montreal and they were 40+ PLUS a 12 hour drive to montreal.

PLUS you had to be in Montreal, with French people and Bob_ze. They should have let you in for free.

I paid 99 euros ($140), plus £170 ($300) in flights to see them. Yes it was Wacken, but they were the only band I was really going for. Worth every penny, they were fucking spot on, pretty much played a set list I would have chosen for them.
