Which of the two?
 

I'm looking for a new bass, but I can't choose between the two of these;

Ibanez BTB 670

ESP F-404FM

The first one would most likely get a new paintjob as soon as I bought it, black or dark blue.

...NEVER do that with natural finish basses.

And I just got my ESP B254. Very statisfied with it, and it doesn't have that stupid F-form.

Maybe I'll go with this one or just the Ibanez in that case.
Or would you say the new Ibanez BTB470 (same qualities as the 670 except for a mahogany instead of a walnut/ash body) in colour Iron Pewter would be better then?

900 bucks for a bass? Whatever floats your boat and sails it.


But my ESP B254 has the EXACT same specs like that one, only the wood is agathis, and it's like 400 bucks cheaper.

Problem: where will I find a 254 series? I mean, if these still were around I would definitely go for one of those, but they stopped those series.

Delivery was incredibly fast, and free. The colour of the one I got is the same as here, but don't be scared by the crappy band that's playing it ;-)

I'll go to the MusicStore soon and test some basses and see which is best.

Agathis is like the lowest quality wood they can make a bass out of.You get what you pay for but i would go for the ESP all day

Former. The latter looks too 'Cradle of Filth'ish.
