Removal of some bands
 

I see no point why to keep the bands that have denied the distribution of their tabs here. IMO they could as well be removed.

Could be, could not be. We don't know how the future goes.
Besides, removing those bands wouldn't change anything, I guess.

Leaving them up, one can still see what tabs were available and then contact the author to send them a copy. Just my take on the situation.

Plus it makes the denied artists look like assholes :D And they really are if they deny permission.

Yeah that's true. There are many other places where these tabs can be obtained. I have a huge folder of metal tabs anyways. But it really does make artists seem like selfish assholes when they do things like this... it isn't even the actual song for fuck sake.

Ah well...

Maybe so, but it doesn't do any good, either, keeping those bands here.

These tabs are usually transcribed by ear, so the transcriber has the copyrights, I guess.

In the case of Gorgoroth, they refused because they didn't want any imitators..

Bad idea. Do you know how much time that would take to do? And what if the whole situation clears up and we can put them back online?
