Iron Cobras
 

My drummer has these pedals. Hes had at lest 4 or 5 pairs. They keep breaking on him after a week then he goes back to Guitar Centar and they exchange them. Have you guys ever known the pedal to do this? It never happened with his old pedal. Maybe its just the way he plays the cobras.

I've never owned a pair, but a friend of mine has had the same pair for like 2 years now...but mabey your friend plays alot more or somthing

A week seems a bit extreme, but I've had mine for about 2 years and they're just about fucked. Not lasted long enough considering the price of them.

I wouldn't buy them again, to be honest. DW or Pearl next time - although I've heard a lot of people say the DWs break footboards quite easily, so dunno.

i've never broke a foot board on mine but ive snapped the chains, but i had a 4000 series so they might just be heaping piles of shit compared to other dw pedals

I just got me some Iron Cobras 3 days ago and there awesome. I dont know how your drummer managed to brake them in a week there pretty solid. What part on them are braking?

They're probably Iron Cobra Juniors or something.

You may want to tell him to consider changing his playing technique. That shouldn't happen.
