G# Persian Scale?
 

I was wondering if anyone else thinks the G# persian scale sounds good for death/doom metal?

You see I'm tuned to C#G#C#F#A#D#.

I was thinking a progression like

12, 13, 11, 12, 8

Sounds pretty doom, what do you think?

Yes it works great for metal. Sounds half phrygian/ half harmonic minor. I'm always throwing one of those intervals into a riff or lead.
