I need some advise on which bass to buy

4 string, 5 piece neck bolt on neck. Active EQ & pickups. Paduok/mahogany body, padouk/wenge neck. Wenge fretboard. P & J type pickups.

I'd go with the Ibanez

Every tune base I've ever played had almost no tone, it was all really metallic tinny sounding.

OK maybe I will. I have just read some good reviews about the Tune Maniac.
