Graphics-Help?
 

This would attract more attention in the Guitar-zone, but it's for my bass so heck.

Rather than stickers, I'd love to apply some graphics/have some graphics applied to my bass. Any help on this? Do's and don'ts? Other information?

why do you want to do it anyway? I don't see any sense in doing it on your own. Buy bass with them which looks cool or get along without it.

Why do other people want custom basses?

Just some personalising, well actually just for the looks of it, and fuck off if you're trying to make other's believe that the looks of your bass don't matter to you.

It's a possibility yes.

Airbrushing is probably the best way to go for detail. And it probably wouldn't cost too much if it were something small like that.

yeah airbrush it on with stencils and masking
though I forget not everyone has an airbrush and compressor.

IF you have then yeah just airbrush it on very carefully, make sure your mask is perfect. For things that are just like full colour illustrations, Im not sure. Of course they can be painted (read; airbrushed) directly on to the body but its harder. Much.

Cant be of much more help as I dont know if theres any professional who does this for a fee or what.

Yes I'm probably going to let it get airbrushed.


Casualties-fan: I know, and of course I'm going to take the pickups out first, or at the very least cover 'eM.

It shouldn't be too difficult to find a local artist that airbrushes. I personally know a few that do it for quite cheap.

Using a simple nice bass would be better, than putting some designs on it. It will look nicer I supposed.

Graphics IMO, look pretty tacky, unless its something thats quite small, and not too in your face.

What would be the best brand for that?

That's what it supposed to be. Not an entire graphic over the body of the bass, nay, just a symbol (something Death-worship or something else, haven't decided yet) on it.

I think a devil design will do.
