I think there is a positive, and negative thing to everything we do, or that happens....and this negative thing happens, the positive thing is we can all sit here and make fun of them, I doubt they'd come in this thread. :)

about those positive and negative thingies, the positive part is that we can make fun of them, yes, anther positive part is that they know what we think of them now.

the negative parts, clearly,

-the bullshit we have to endure,

-the kids walking in the streets with pink/blue spikes on their head and slipknot sweaters that piss you off.

-the ugly video clips that come by on tv, the reason why I stopped watching tv (except for some series)

-the way they fuck up the 7 strings, I don't care about A tunings and shit, but I like the original 7 string concept (IF you do good things with it)


ah well... I guess Longjocks is right, don't let it get to your head, just keep making fun of them :)

i used to be really into slipknot. its 2 years ago, that makes me 18 at the time. i was also real into older stuff. you cant categorise ppl and label them on what the listen to otherwise your just becoming another soapbox junkie. wouldnt u hate to be judged? fact is, i dont like minimoshers, all the kids that listen to linkin park, korn, manson, system etc... most of them do my head in. not cus of the music, cus (excluding linkin park) i like those bands. i dislike them because they have that annoying disrespect for other metal fans, like they own every club and despite them mostly being under age, we are the ones who ought to be elsewhere.

i dont like all these metal bands you talk about. cannibal corpse and slayer scare me. cradle of filth - it sounds like someones throttling a chihuahua, pantera - i dont mind them, and all these black metal bands i aint never heard of them, but im not gonna judge any of ya on just your taste in music, cus if i did that i'd half less than half the friends ive got.

What was the point of the Baroque reference? Maybe I'm just a terrible reader, and I'm not, but that just was from nowhere. I didnt see "I motherfucking hate those motherfuckin J.S. Bach listenin motherfuckers!" anywhere, or someone talking up Metallica and putting down Baroque. As it's not a site for nu-metal, it's a legitimate concern.
