NEVERMORE CONFIRMED FOR BLOODSTOCK OPEN AIR 2007
 

Bloodstock are very pleased to announce Seattle’s NEVERMORE will play their ONLY UK Festival at this years Bloodstock Open Air Festival On Friday 17th August 2007 !

Nevermore formed in 1995 in the midst of Seattle’s Grunge movement, but dared to continue their vision at that time for a creative and multi faceted Metal sound. The bands debut self entitled album was produced by Neil Kernon who also produced Queensryche, Judas Priest, Yes, Journey & The Rolling stones. The band have since had several hugely successful albums including , ‘In Memory’ , The Politics of Esctasy and ‘Enemies of Reality’. In 2005 Nevermore released their latest album ‘ The Godless Endeavour’ & vocalist Warren Dane said “ the album has the most rippling guitar work we have ever recorded “ !

The band have toured many European festivals & have been one of the MOST requested bands to play Bloodstock Open Air, so it is with great delight for the band and so many of their UK fans we can finally make this happen.

the 4 DJS of the Apocalypse - providing the right vibes throughout BOA 2007. Along with prime slot bands and the usual Karaoke all washed down with the "new improved" bar, The Lava Stage is set to boil over and engulf all who dare enter……..

Fans On Film! - Bloodstock Open Air 07 documentary confirmed
 

Yes Bloodstock Open Air goes to the Metal Movies!

Bloodstock Open Air is delighted to announce that this year's record breaking Festival is to be captured and immortalised on film. Music Movie specialists Dead Duck productions www.deadduckproductions.com are co-ordinating a multitude of fixed and roving cameras, stationed all over the Festival site from before we set up till after the last sorry bedraggled muddy funster has vacated the site. So this is your chance to get yourself in the frame. Not only can you say you were there... you and all your mates will forever be able to see you were there.

With the accent on the fans as much as the bands, the documentary will provide quality viewing and will hopefully be not for the feint hearted. This is an opportunity to be part of what we regard to be the first in a series of tie ins with Dead Duck. As BOA makes a bigger and better presence on Metal Festivals .....we want to take you - the face of Bloodstock with us. With Agents, TV, Magazines and other potential partners wanting to know exactly what the fuss is all about..what better way than to show them! And that's where you guys come in and take over. Get your opinions, thoughts, dreams, musical tastes, faces (and other more interesting parts) onto the big screen for now and beyond!

Look out for a few surprise camera locations (don't worry...the loo facilities are sacred) and loads and loads of possibilities to get you and all the contributions you would want to make a permanent reality !! We'll be keeping a look out on the forum for any interesting threads that you guys want us to pick up on....

Looking forward to turning the Silver Screen Metal!!

Thanks to loads of hard work, co-ordination, sweating, yelping, swearing, phone calls and gentle emotional blackmail (but enough of our private lives) the Bloodstock team, various performer representatives and our very nice friends at Metal Hammer have conspired to produce 15 tracks of this year's line up for your delectation and consideration. All you have to do is purchase a copy of said publication and give yourself a taster of BOA 2007.

Every copy of the August edition of MH will carry the CD as a bona fide freebie.

We're pretty pleased with everyone concerned that from a little idea of "wonder if it's possible...? " to actually having it on the shelves the very month of the event.... but the proof of the pudding is in the tasting and that's where you Bloodstockers can help. Please let us have your feedback via postings on the old forum. Let us know what you think of the selection of artists and tracks etc etc... we fully intend to produce more of the same and if we know what makes you delirously happy, that makes it even easier.
