Cymbals what are the best?
 

hello, i am a fairly new drummer and i need to upgrade my cymbals... I play Metal and Prog. Rock. What is the best cymbal Package out there for under $400??? or please tell me what cymbals work best for you... Thanks :flame:

what cymbals are you currently using?

I curently have the Sabian B8 rock pack (16' Crash, Ride, Hi-hats, 15' crash)

that i can answer

i like old used zildjian rides from the 60s and 70s, but i can go with ones made more recently.

i like ride cymbals for the most part and i would be interested in gongs if i could afford them.

i have been using an old cracked up 16" zildjian crash, which makes me curious about having more like them.

basically i like beat up used cymbals<zildjian being the most common so i go with them, im not really brand specific> and vintage drumkits, im not into new stuff at all.

overall its about preference, not about what most efficient or whatnot
