My blasting hand
 

Alright, I'm trying to build up endurance and speed in my left hand. I like blasting but I'm having trouble keeping up. Does anyone have any advice for building up endurance/speed in my hand?

practice, practice, practice.

metronome and slowly up the speed over weeks.

precision and strength.

Thanks. That's what my instructor told me too. Just gets old after a while of sitting there banging a stick...but oh well, it'll be worth it, eh?

play along to bands if you want man. start with reasonable blasters like incantation.. move onto faster bands like morbid angel.

then go on to hate eternal and nile.

Cut on your metronome to like 200bps and jack your dick to the beat....

I already can do that. Hah, jk.

Just practice lots.

im slower in my left than right also, but it seems to be my wrist and not my fingers. What happends is that when i try going fast with my left, my fingers and wrist will not go synchronized to the same degree as my right....with my right my wrist will alway follow the speed of my fingers, even though at high speeds its my fingers that do most of the work, but still my wrist kinda compliment the movement by moving at the same speed
so ive been doing some left hand exercises where i just hit with my wrist, keeping my fingers locked on the stick....hoping that will improve the left hand
