Dude... Decapitated and Necrophagist in one show... that's fucking sick! I can't wait! I wanna see Beneath The Massacre badly too! Will be a badass show.

I haven't seen Decapitated yet, but Necrophagist is awesome live. They were tight as fuck in Toronto on their tour with CC and Fetus.

Are you basing your opinion on a bad experience or just a general dislike for the band?

I saw Necrophagist a few weeks ago, and they sounded nearly perfect. Don't believe the lies! :p

Have you seen either of these bands live? you tube videos dont count.

I just saw Necrophagist at the california metal fest and they kicked ass. Their performance was perfect and they had an awsome crowd. I saw them in LA last year as well at the 740 club and they rocked that place too. Decapitated was kinda week though when i saw them in Vegas. They didnt mic Vogs amp through the PA system so you could barley hear the guitars. The crowd was week too, no one was getting into it. then again they were opening for that show.

just becasuse they play well doesn't mean they are a good show.
they could be playing well but they could stil just be standing there

Believe it or not, I like both bands. I'm not one to condemn Necrophagist for being overly technical, or whatever.


They're certainly very tight, but they're kinda boring. No stage presence whatsoever.


I've seen 'em both, otherwise I wouldn't have made the comment. I saw Necrophagist with Dying Fetus in Novemeber, and Decapitated with Suffocation soon thereafter. As I mentioned above, Necrophagist played extremely tight, but they lack stage presense. Conversely, Decapitated just plain sucked when I saw 'em live. I dunno if they were drunk or something, but their timing was way off, and they were missing notes left and right.

Again, I'm a fan of both bands, so this comes from personal experience, not any sort of stupid vendetta against 'em, as I like 'em both.

Fair enough. I agree that Necrophagist is lacking in the stage prescense department, but that didn't bother me at the time. I didn't expect them to be tight, but they were, and that was enough to make me really enjoy the show. Plus I got to meet Stefan :p

well, stephan moves around quite a bit lol.
