Ive found some random australian site that has some old bc rich NJ ironbird the ones without a speedloader! bolt on fastback neck join, 24 frets, pointy headstock, and also theyre only about £350 ($700) so im gonna get it refretted as ive heard that bc rich necks are crap, and maybe the neck re-contoured into a wizard profile, then ill refinish it in all white, get all black hardware, chuck in an X2n and an OFR and there we have one sick fucker of a guitar.

what do you guys think? good idea? i have a VERY good luthier who also happens to be my guitar tutor so he can do all the work no probs.

just wanted to hear you guys thoughts before i went ahead with it.

So in the end, would you end up spending like $1000?

yeah maybe more, i need machineheads, OFR, bridge pickup, refret, re-finish

and then its done.

but i think it would make one hell of a nice guitar

Im gonna be doing it in a few months time, ill post up progress pictures etc.

i dont know what logo to go for. i want the bc rich "R" on the headstock.
