Does anyone know how to hear a bass if it's really quiet?
 

Ok, so I'm trying to do a bass tab for some songs on Limbonic Art's Moon in the Scorpio. But I can't hear much of the bass, or guitars for that matter. The keyboards are kind of getting in the way. I have some parts down for a couple song, but not enough for a whole tab. Does anyone have a suggestion on how I could tab it?

What I would do personally is just play the root notes of each chord, or if it's a riff, just copy it note for note.
Have you tried a bass booster? Most mp3 players allow you to alter the EQ.

if you can, load it into windows media player and slow it down, play along with it and match the tones.

Do you use Winamp? It has a really good EQ. And alot of plug-in's that you can download to tweak the sound...possibly one that will boost the bass frequency.
