Why would you stop singing/screaming for a week+? I would just reccomend to keep doing it again, and try to get as little time between practice as possible.

Hello, everyone! I've been training with different styles of metal vocals for my grind band. I was wondering if anyone had an idea of what kind of technique Fox from see you next tuesday uses for his high pitched shrieks? I'm not sure I'll be using that styling but how can you achieve a dynamic vocal range by practicing one thing?

Nah. It was just me eating a SM57 beta. It is double tracked if thats what you're hearing. I didn't use a pop screen or any set distance from the mic, we were just fucking around.

Anyone know the scream technique that Chris Barnes used in Tomb of The Mutilated? The screams in Post Mortal Ejaculation where too sick.

a question: a vocal like Kataklysm (main one) or Hate is more like a gutteral backgrounded with your normal voice or a normal voice scream backgrounded with your voicebox vibrations (growl)? You know what i mean ??

for the bm vocals all you have to do is widden your neck oopen your mouth wide and go ehhhh or you could make fun of maniacs vocals on european legoins(that is how i learned I was making fun of his vocals cause i didn't appreciate bm so i was singing master of puppets like that good stuff)
