10 grand.... i definately wouldnt

blizzard_beast 2006-11-14 16:58

That looks fucking awful.

DeathCS 2006-11-14 17:10

it's certainly amazing. great craftsmanship

the_bleeding 2006-11-14 19:03

notice how it has 4 tuners at the top, and 2 at the bottom... that would be wieeeerddddddd... and then the fingernails freak me out man. they would break off so fast too. My problem: whats the point of locking tuners on a guitar you wont play :p

but it is fucking beautiful... reminds me of alembics... soooo purdeh, i just wanna touch em.

k13m 2006-11-14 19:34

thats not a guitar, thats a piece of furniture you hang on the wall, it has nothing to do with being a guitar/instrument, cuz i doubt it getting played on anyway.

waste of wood imo

Deathmaster213 2006-11-15 04:04

Yeah it's freakish. I'm guessing it's something that someone with more money than skill would buy as a conversation piece at their arty cocktail parties.

Although art is subjective, I dismiss it as being quality art. It has the abstract and unusual quality, but nothing more. Good decoration for a gay bar.

ThornsOfHeaven200 2006-11-15 13:43

I think the craftsmanship is good, but i find those guitars very ugly and would not want to own one of those, but wouldnt mind demoing it just to see how it feels and plays.

I sent this link to my friend who is making my custom, and he replied with:

He has a point.

davie_gravy 2006-11-15 14:55

Wow... that thing is badass! Talk about creative and unusual. I couldn't see myself forking out 10 g's for it, but I'm sure the right guitarist/art collector would in a heartbeat.

Dyvim Tvar 2006-11-15 16:51

God damn, that's certainly nice carving but I couldn't bring myself to play the thing, it's freaky!

Laaz-Rockit1988 2006-11-15 17:44

WOW lol, not a chance in hell would i fork out 10grand for that. Sure it looks nice, but i would to scared to play it.

I wouldnt mind having a go on it to see how it plays... but im sure the owner would :P

rapeandruin 2006-11-15 18:14

what a piece of shit...Beautiful wood...but those nails and hands...are horrible...I don't mind the hand at the headstock so much...but the rest are just so...out of place...I would of installed a humbucker not a piece of shit single coil if I was that guy...

Pr0az 2006-11-15 19:11

10 grand............... :finger:.......thing looks like something pinhead would play off of hellraiser.

DeathCS 2006-11-15 20:01

that is a humbucker on there. just a mini one.

mini is still not a humbucker...i have one on my A-15 washburn...still NOT A HUMBUCKEr...just a wannabe

Sycophant 2006-11-16 04:04

That guitar reminds me of the plastic hamburger people at McDonalds when I was a kid. No idea why, but your $10,000 is better spent elsewhere. I'd rather pay off my car then get that horrendous piece of 'exquisite guitar craftsmanship'.

Deathmaster213 2006-11-16 05:52

Actually, what it reminds me of is the 'corpse' guitar the vampire lead singer in the Tittie Twister band plays in From Dusk Til Dawn.

arvina 2006-11-19 23:49

thats stupid. and the carving is not even that great. the hands look stupid, but the fingernails are pretty awsome.
i couldnt make that guitar for less than a grand.
